COLUMBUS — Ohio Sen. Bill Blessing, R-Cincinnati, proposed a measure to raise the Ohio minimum wage to $15 per hour for most Ohio workers and create a refundable Ohio Earned Income Tax Credit on Thursday.
Senate Bill 256 comes as a ballot measure to protect a $15 minimum wage in the state constitution is set to be on the ballot in November.
