Syracuse, N.Y. — The Syracuse men’s basketball team is locked into a Multi-Team Event (MTE) in Las Vegas in 2025 that will pay each participating program $1 million to fund their NIL initiatives, said Jason Belzer, founder of Student Athlete NIL.

SANIL oversees dozens of college sports NIL collectives, including Syracuse’s Orange United. Belzer said the $1 million will be deposited into Orange United, SU’s preferred NIL collective. That money will then be distributed to SU men’s basketball players.
